Unreliable, unstable connection. slow, poor quality device and connection

Our experience with both this virgin router and plan has been a hair pulling one. We are constantly having to reset the device as the connection to our devices weans and drop out, even when the device claims it is 'connected'.

Sometimes the device won't even connect at all.

The internet speed is snail pace: I am peaking at 2.95mbps as the only person connected to the internet (it's almost unbearable when we are all connected at once). Given that a good internet speed is 8mbps, and an average speed is 4.7mbps, this is a real let-down.

Finally, the maximum amount of internet usage is 18gb, which might be enough for a single, medium level internet user, but it's a disaster for a family of 4! We can't watch much online: even Youtube clips stretch it. Say goodbye to downloading all you favourite movies, games and music. Furthermore, once the internet has been capped, to top it up with an extra ONE gb of internet it costs $15.00- so the price you pay for this internet isn't really a bargin at all.

Save yourself immense frustration. You are a million times better off investing a few extra dollars in perhaps a telstra plan, for a stable, quality, internet connection.

not fast. if you don't absolutely need the portability, forget it. Just get any other option instead for the money.

For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
