Huawei's IDEOS smartphone has a small, low-res display and lacks multitouch, but it still represents excellent value. It runs the latest version of Android and it is reasonably well built; it's an absolute bargain at this price.

Tarun Khanna's poor reception comments are irksome but it does make a good point. It is very difficult to find a review on a mobile phone that includes a comment on it's reception capability. In Australia, for many consumers, it is the number one criteria for a smartphone so one would expect an Australian reviewer would know this and include it in their review.
