Best mobile phones for Father's Day

We round up the best mobile phones for your dad

Even though your dad's cool factor is probably well past its use-by-date, there is no reason why he shouldn't be keeping up with the latest technology. If your dad is stuck in a time warp and still uses a trusty old Nokia 5110, why not give him with one of the latest mobile phones this Father's Day?

Most Aussie dads probably don't want a phone with fancy colours or pink, diamond-encrusted cases, nor are they likely to want a tiny phone that will probably be too small for them to use comfortably. With this in mind, we've rounded up the best mobile phones for your dad this Father's Day — from budget and prepaid offerings, to the latest Internet-capable smartphones with big touchscreens. You'll be sure to find something for every dad out there!

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10

We really want to like the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10, but as it stands, it has too many niggling issues to recommend. If Sony Ericsson upgrades its software to correct the performance issues then this will be a very impressive smartphone.
