Due to their size, plentiful features and low price, 15in laptops still represent the sweet spot in the market. Pricing for a well-featured 15in notebook starts at around $800 and it can go up to around $2000 depending on its specifications. In this round-up, we've gathered some of the best 15in laptops we've seen to date, including the Medion Akoya P6624 (MD98390). While the Medion is not always available (Aldi usually sells them every few months), it's worth keeping it mind for when it does go on sale at Aldi. Almost every Medion model we've seen offers incredible value. We've also included HP's Pavilion dv6, which is a quad-core laptop for $999, as well as Dell's very popular Inspiron 15R, Samsung's glossy R590-JS02AU, MSI's FX600, Lenovo's business-centric Thinkpad T510 and Acer's Aspire Timeline X.

Samsung R590-JS02AU

Samsung's R590 is an attractive and solidly built 15.6in notebook. It's too cumbersome to be carried around every day, but it does make for a great desktop PC replacement. You can use it for everyday office work, as well as tougher tasks such as video encoding and gaming.
