Microsoft's all-new mobile operating system, Windows Phone 7, is an entirely different beast to its clunky predecessor, Windows Mobile 6.5. It features an attractive, fresh and easy-to-use interface, Facebook integration and a full mobile office suite. While it is far from perfect, its refreshing look and consistent performance makes it a valid alternative to competing smartphone platforms. The LG Optimus 7 may lack any 'wow' factor, but it is still an impressively constructed smartphone that benefits from Microsoft's slick Windows Phone 7 operating system. The Optimus 7 could well be the best LG smartphone we've seen in a long time.
