Best small TVs

A roundup of all the small screen TV reviews we've done in 2010

TVs under 42in are often appropriate for smaller living rooms, bedrooms or studies where there isn't a large distance between the viewer and the screen. You can buy small screen TVs for anything from $100 to upwards of $2000, from no-name brands as well as the major TV manufacturers. They're almost always LED or LCD TVs, though — plasmas are rare below 42in sizes.

Sharp LC40L650X

Sharp's LC40L650X LCD TV misses out on the advanced features found in more expensive televisions but for watching Blu-ray, DVD and broadcast television it does an acceptable job. Its USB input plays back a range of files, and it has good picture quality for a budget television.
