You can load up these devices with media files and easily access them, or you can connect them to your home network and stream video easily. We've put together a list of what we think are the best media players in Australia.

D-Link Boxee Box

The D-Link Boxee Box offers plenty of online content that's worth watching, but it also has a lot of content that can't be watched here in Australia. Ultimately, you might find it frustrating if all you want to do is watch online video streams. However, if you purchase it with the primary intention of using it as a network streamer for local content, and secondarily for watching YouTube and other online services, you'll be satisfied.

Why do you recommend Veola android ? for a media player given todays requirments it offers very little storage capacity "Memory Cards SD/SDHC up to 32GB"

You missed the best of all. The Patriot Box Office.
Around $100 and way better than any of these.

Media Players, Shmedia Players, Nothings better than a Jailbroken ATV2 with Firecore. I am so confused though. a Jailbroken device should not be the best media player out there. I have brought loads of different ones because I am convinced there must be better but I just cannot find one.
I will keep looking but the Dvico TViX M-6600N is pretty ho hum.
