Best iPhone 4S alternatives

The best smartphone alternatives to the Apple iPhone 4S

Apple recently launched its 5th generation iPhone but it didn't unveil the iPhone 5, like many rumours suggested. It unveiled the iPhone 4S — it looks exactly like an iPhone 4, except it has a faster processor, a better graphics engine and a better camera. It's also got an assistant called "Siri" that interacts with you via voice commands.

Sound uninspiring? Thankfully, there are plenty of alternatives to the iPhone 4S that will provide you with similar or even better features. We've rounded up the top 10.

HTC Sensation XE

The HTC Sensation XE is by no means a bad Android phone, but none of its features blew us away. We love the red and black design and the urBeats headphones are a nice inclusion, but average battery life and less than stellar performance detract from its appeal. Ultimately, the HTC Sensation XE is a very good smartphone but not a great one.
