Topfield TRF-7170 PVR

We really like the Topfield TRF-7170 as a recording device. It can record up to four shows through its two HD tuners and its EPG and recording features are very useful. However, its menu interface and media features could use some updating to make them more enjoyable, and its remote control could use more comfortable buttons and a better layout.

Oooopppps doesn't!

Had this unit for 2 years. good PVR but remote is dying - $60! menus are a bit clumsy but connect to the Ethernet port (wired) with FTP client such as FileZilla to manage the data better

I bought a Toppro 1500 in March of last year (2012) and the remote has died completely. When asked the price of a new one , the guy first of all said $60 ! I said that cant be right since the pvr was $75, including a remote, new. He went away and came back and said the remotes for that model a Topfield, aren't made anymore. This brought forward my time for throwing this in the wheelie bin. When you press a button for instant start, you don't expect to have to wait for up to 30 seconds before it starts to record, likewise, when you set the timer, you have to be there to click 'OK' for it to record. If you aren't there to click on the OK button, it will not record. How useless is that

I bought the top field top pro TRF 7160 18 months ago, remote has been dying for the better part of a year and now I can't access any of my saved recordings and it wants to reformat every time I turn it on. Now looking for a new pvr that has smart series recording :(

For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
