Are you in the market for a new tablet that's not an iPad? It may seem like Apple's the only player in this space but that's certainly not true.
Although most other tablets aren't as popular as the iPad, there are plenty of valid alternatives. Whether it's Google's excellent Nexus 7 for a compact alternative, or the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity for a notebook style experience, here are the best tablets on the market without an Apple logo.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is the company's entry-level, inexpensive Android tablet, and an update to the original Galaxy Tab. It comes with Android 4.0 out of the box and has 3G connectivity, but on first glance its specs are rather underwhelming. If it's aggressively priced, however, it could prove to be a great entry level tablet.
