Best full HD smartphones
- — 07 March, 2013 15:25
2013 is quickly shaping up to become the year of the full HD smartphone. Whereas most of last years flagship devices paraded screens with a 720p resolution, the top line models in 2013 are all likely to feature a full HD, 1080p display.
The resolution of these screens is 1920x1080, which in most cases results in a pixel density of well over 400ppi. The end result should mean screens that make it impossible to distinguish individual pixels on the display without using a magnifying glass.
We round-up the best smartphones with full HD screens, including the flagship Sony Xperia Z and the hotly-anticipated HTC One. The list also includes the Oppo Find 5, the HTC Butterfly and the ASUS Padfone Infinity.

2 / 7
The HTC One is one of the best designed phones we've ever used. It has an outstanding display and offers fast and smooth performance. However, its battery life is below average, its new camera technology isn't a revolution and the tile-based 'BlinkFeed' home screen won't suit all users.
