A real time strategy title for the DS that's not only good, but serves as a new iteration in a tried and true franchise? I think you can understand if we were sceptical. However Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes is a finely crafted and novel venture into the handheld RTS genre.

Let's face it: good Ninja Turtles games are a dime a dozen. For every Turtle in Time, there's a movie cash-in lurking around the corner. While TMNT: Arcade Attack may not be the worst game out there, it's certainly not the best.

Bowser's Inside Story is a game that will have you laughing one moment and cursing the next but you'll enjoy doing both.

A Witch's Tale has good ideas, but these disparate elements are too haphazardly implemented to raise it above mediocrity. It's got its heart in the right place, but good intentions do not necessarily equal a top-shelf product.

I lost my DS a month or so ago. It was during the time I was reviewing Scribblenauts. I think I may have put it down somewhere and my brain, lulled into a dreamlike state by Scribblenauts' quirky and addictive gameplay, simply forgot to remember where that "somewhere" is. My biggest regret is that I never got to play Chinatown Wars on the DS; the game is sitting unused on my desk, haunting my thoughts. Thankfully, my PSP is still around and as you'll soon see, the war for Chinatown made the transition to Sony's handheld intact, so I'll be happily blasting my way through the gritty streets of Liberty City once again.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games is a compelling purchase for party game and curling fans alike. If it's a quick bout of fun you're after, it's hard to go wrong.

Learning how to navigate and apply the many different options of Beaterator will take some time and practice, and while I'm not saying that putting in the effort isn't worth it in the end, I am saying that today's market seems less likely to embrace a title that has a learning curve as steep as Brett Michael's declining rock-credibility.

I was first interested in Half-Minute Hero when I saw the trailer on the official XSEED website. Retro visuals with XSEED's trademark quirky humour? Count me in. Half-Minute Hero is an absolute blast, and a decidedly original (and hilarious) take on the fantasy RPG genre.

Seriously, it's like slaving through the dungeons in Legend of Zelda, except all the levels look exactly the same and you don't know where anything is.

The PSPgo is a significant evolution of the Sony PlayStation Portable that impresses on almost every level. Unfortunately, its prohibitive price tag is difficult to overlook -- particularly when compared to the PSP 3000, which will be sold alongside it. Until Sony rethinks its pricing strategy, we fear the PSPgo will remain a trendy oddity.

I would recommend this game to experienced RPG fans who want something light to play on the side but anyone expecting a worthwhile journey through Dorothy's adventures will walk away disappointed.

Scribbelnauts is like the [MOLE] on your girlfriend's face or the undercooked centre of your mom's [MEATLOAF] -- you accept the imperfections because you love the other aspects of it so much.

Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny is one of the PSP's best fighting games.

All in all, I'm going to have to strongly recommend Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days. Sure, it's plenty more of the same, but when the same was this good to begin with, it's pretty hard to find faults with it. It's funny, it's charming, and it's an absolute blast to play for both aspiring Demon Lords and returning Overlords.
