Infinity Ward returns with a follow-up to the critically acclaimed Modern Warfare that has already stirred up controversy over the now infamous airport level. But don't let that distract you from the real discussion: is the game any good? The game definitely has potential but its place in video game history will ultimately be decided by the fanatic online community who may take issue with some of the n00b friendly changes.

Guitar Hero has been around forever and honestly, I was starting to get a little tired of formula. I think it says a lot that games like GH5 and Beatles Rock Band barely registered on my radar; truth be told, I'm way more excited for DJ Hero because it offers up something different and new. But after seeing GH5 in action, I have to say that I'm not quite ready to give up my plastic instruments yet. With a wide selection of tracks and some awesome new features, GH5 just ensured that my neighbors are going to be pissed off at me for the next couple of months.

Nazis... why did it have to be Nazis?! Wolfenstein probably won't make you forget about Modern Warfare or Halo 3 or Killzone 2 or whatever online FPS you're currently hooked on.

There are plenty of great things in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen to warrant purchasing it. If you like Transformers, buy this game. Even if you don't (or you just hate Michael Bay), you should still give Optimus Prime a try.

Guitar Hero: Modern Hits never really justifies itself as an upgrade from the stellar Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades. Still, any on-the-go rock star is bound to have a blast with the ageless GH gameplay, not to mention the return of plenty of classic characters and brand new venues.

It will even make the most jaded comic fan smirk every once in a while. However, if you're not a huge fan of Wolverine, I'd suggest you sink your claws into something else.

To call it Call of Duty 4 with a World War II skin is insulting to Treyarch because World at War is so much more than that. It's a great follow up to Modern Warfare and proves that World War II is still a viscerally charged conflict to live through. The single-player campaign is a tad short and it isn't as polished as Modern Warfare's but the action is intense, there are plenty of thrills and the multiplayer looks like it will be just as awesome. I'm especially looking forward to the Nazi Zombies mode.

While never quite proving itself as the penultimate virtual rock experience, Guitar Hero: World Tour is a blast in its own right that definitely deserves a look from both veterans of the series and newcomers alike.

Awesome action makes up for several shortcomings including a spastic camera and random technical glitches. Web of Shadows delivers the best combat system of any Spider-Man game to date and intense boss battles to go with it. An imperfect effort, but an entertaining one nonetheless

In the end, Payback is a decent enough game that won't leave much of a lasting impression. It's good if you just want some mindless fun but don't go in expecting anything more because the only payback you'll get is a shot in the foot.

Vicarious Visions has managed to do what many thought impossible — translate the fun of Guitar Hero to the Nintendo DS. It wont let you live out your axeman fantasies, and the control scheme can be downright painful, but nevertheless, Guitar Hero: On Tour is better than it has any right to be. Highly recommended.

It may not be deep, but it sure as hell is fun.
