Compared to other survival-horror games on the market as of late, Saw is one of the top titles. Is it worth $110? Not so much. I do suggest renting it or picking it up later on down the road when it's half the price.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 isn't a huge step forward, but it's better than its predecessor in nearly every way. If you fell in love with last year's game, but found it lacking in depth you should be plenty happy with what Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 has to offer.

It's fun but it's ridiculously challenging, features some poorly designed puzzles and definitely doesn't do enough to lead you in the right direction. It's worth playing but prepare to be frustrated.

It could have been a fantastic survival horror game, but Homecoming is hampered by lacklustre gameplay and a linear story.

Filled with potential, Lost in Blue focuses less on survival and more on babysitting with the occasional mini-game.

The unique blend of wonderfully bizarre settings and enemies make Death Jr.'s return a fresh gaming experience. It's Nightmare Before Christmas meets Alice in Wonderland. Prepare yourself for one crazy trip.

It would have been easy for Konami to be lazy and release an underwhelming remake or compilation to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Instead, they released Portrait of Ruin, a game that not only reaffirms the series' greatness, but is easily once of the best handheld games released this year.

Okay, so Science of Evil isn't going to reinvent the face of gaming or make you say "God of War what?" But really, who cares? It's a solid and enjoyable action title with enough action and plot to keep you interested over the long haul. Even if you don't like the comics or care about the upcoming movie, there are worse ways to spend a couple of hours. And who knows: you may even end up liking the big red guy enough to go check out his other adventures.

It's another solid title in the series and acts as a great preface to the story of later titles. Just be sure to play it with the lights on.

Chronicles is a game that all Castlevania freaks must play and the inclusion of the amazing Symphony of the Night is just the cherry on top. If you own a PSP, there is no excuse for you to not own this title.

The game is great graphically, especially considering how quickly the environment responds to climate changes, though the hyper-cute characters and level designs may turn off many. Had the physics been less dramatic, we probably would have had more fun with it. Instead, the game is just too frustrating for its own good, which is strange considering its kid-friendly vibe.

Coded Arms: Contagion was a passable shooter that ended up being mediocre. The game works and we got a minor amount of satisfaction completing higher level missions in the story mode. However, the clunky menus, gun fire that sounds like a woodpecker trapped in a metal trash can, and freeze-framing of the character in the middle enemy assaults are just more examples in which there just wasn't enough effort put into Contagion. The fact remains that just because it is a portable game doesn't mean our standards have been lowered.
