Despite the cute retro-styled characters, cheery music, and narrated post-work-out relaxation exercises (which we actually skipped after the first time because they felt like more strain than comfort), we can confidently say this is not the next must-have brain game.

It's an interesting addition to the Final Fantasy franchise and proof that Square Enix can deliver a good title that doesn't fall back on RPG conventions.

DK: Jungle Climber is arguably more of what we saw in King of Swing, but with updated graphics. For those who felt that game was already a one-trick pony, it may be an undesirable sequel, but tons of hard-to-reach collectibles, unlockable mini-games, and four-player downloadable battles will keep the rest of us honing our skills for hours.

Is Rock Band better than Guitar Hero III? The answer will vary and really, it's all about personal taste. Rock Band is probably not the right choice for someone who just wants to shred by themselves in the spotlight. While personal glory is great, we like Rock Band's emphasis on collaboration, having a great time with friends and feeling like an actual musician.

If you're a PS3 owner who loves light-gun games then Time Crisis 4 is the only game you need; it's also the only game you can have.

If you liked the excellent Second Opinion, you'll love New Blood just as much.

If you're into collectible card games, several hundred dollars for a PlayStation 3 and another additional cost for the game and Eye hardware make Eye of Judgment the most expensive card game in history. On the other hand, we can't say we've ever enjoyed a collectible card game as much, if only for the inexplicable satisfaction derived from watching your TV screen respond in elaborate detail to basic physical gestures with fluid animations and flashy explosions and plenty of cheesy, booming fantasy voiceovers.

Joker could've used a heaping helping of the friendly big touch-screen button style interface that the latest Pokemon mastered, but ultimately with these monster hunter games, it's really just up to your brand preference.

Dementium: The Ward is a cohesive game with the sum of all of its parts adding up to a frightening whole.

Philips' SHE9700 offers a good option for people looking to try their first IEM. While audiophiles won't be impressed, less discerning listeners will appreciate the small comfortable design and good quality audio.

Visually, the game already looks phenomenal, and is far, far more detailed than the already stunning Oblivion. Bethesda is promising virtually identical graphics and performance between the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions as well as simultaneous launch dates. Late 2008 is a long way off...but we have a hunch that Fallout 3 is one game worth waiting for.

While not dethroning Bose as the kings of active noise cancelling headphones, Philips' SHN9500 offers a good alternative by combining both good quality audio with impressive noise cancelling.

Dedicated (read: sadistic) gamers willing to invest the time necessary to figure out the controls might get a kick out of this one, but the convoluted controls will turn off most players.

If you liked the quirky art style, strange mysteries and wacky music, then you should definitely pick this one up. If the first title didn't thrill you, then pass it on by.
