LG Chocolate BL40

LG's Chocolate BL40 boasts excellent build quality and a flashy, if unconventional, design. The interface does have its issues and the oddly-shaped design does take a while to grasp, but it has plenty of features.

LG Crystal (GD900)

LG's Crystal (GD900) impresses largely thanks to its unique, transparent keypad that doubles as a touch pad. Ultimately though, it suffers from the lack of features often associated with stylish fashion phones. As a basic "dumb phone" you'll be impressed, but if you need good multimedia options, imaging and Web browsing performance you should look elsewhere.

LG GM730f

LG's GM730f is a standard Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone overlaid with the attractive but sluggish LG S-Class interface. The touch screen is a hit-and-miss affair, the on-screen keyboard is small and cumbersome and the phone lacks the polish of Samsung and HTC alternatives.

LG Viewty Smart

LG's Viewty Smart is a good camera phone and the S-Class UI is rich and engaging but there are plenty of faults. The interface is sluggish, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack and the included mobile browser is poor.

LG Xenon

LG's Xenon isn't a bad little phone, but its design is a little underwhelming and we would have liked native applications for social-networking sites. On the current Telstra plan it's hard to see any value in this device, especially considering the target market.

LG's L7 GB110 is a stylish and cheap mobile phone, and the FM radio, MP3 player and removable storage are commendable inclusions. The lack of Bluetooth will turn many potential users away, however.

LG Prada (KF900)

LG's Prada KF900 is proof that fashion phones don’t always have to be all style and no substance. The lack of GPS and a standard headphone jack are downsides, but the QWERTY keyboard is excellent and the interface is a winner.

LG definitely deserves some credit for thinking outside the box. The LG Arena offers a wealth of features, but although the new user interface certainly looks fantastic, it sometimes feels sluggish and this affects the user experience.

LG KF310

At such a competitive price, LG’s KF310 prepaid mobile phone definitely scores points for value. It's missing a few features and the design isn’t the best, but for the relatively small outlay you get a more than capable 3G mobile phone.

Although it isn't perfect, the Renoir is undoubtedly the best camera phone we've ever reviewed. The touch-screen interface is excellent and it is packed with most of the latest features.

Targeted at teenagers, the KS360 is a commendable effort, but its lack of 3G connectivity is a black mark considering its features list. The QWERTY keyboard is excellent for SMS use, though, and the price is definitely appealing.

The KF300 may be a good solution for consumers who are vision- or hearing-impaired, thanks to extra-large buttons and excessively loud tones. Thankfully, it achieves this without losing much of its style.

The KF390 is a competitive offering for rural consumers, but it is also great for city slickers too. It won’t blow you away with features, but this is a solid handset that does the job with minimal fuss.
