AOC's Angelo 2434pw LCD monitor possesses a stylish and practical design and also provides decent if not outstanding image quality. The lack of a DVI input is annoying, even if an adapter is included, and black levels aren't great, but there remains plenty to like about this monitor.

AOC's Verfino V22 LCD monitor combines a stylish design and good image quality. The glossy panel does limit the monitor's placement, though.

Though boasting a gorgeous design, the AOC Zifas 2218Ph doesn't provide the best colour accuracy, and the dynamic contrast ratio is likely to annoy.

AOC's 2219P2 would have been a pretty middle-of-the-road monitor, but the horrible ghosting issues we encountered coupled with the backlight bleeding mean this is probably a display to steer clear of.

The lack of height adjustment and the glossy panel will turn some users away. These faults aside, there is a lot to like about the 2230Fm. The DMP engine isn’t great, but if you’re after an all-rounder with good image quality, this is a reasonable choice.

This AOC showed us good contrast and brightness during our tests, but its greyscale did suffer from noticeable pink colouring and noise. Nevertheless, it was comfortable to view pictures and movies on this screen, and the webcam is a neat addition.

The AOC 212VA isn't at the top of the monitor pack, but considering the price tag, this 22in display is good value for money for those looking to make the leap into the widescreen PC display market.

The 210V isn't the best quality screen we've seen, but it's more than suitable for everyday tasks, watching movies and playing games.
Review Date: 22-MAR-2007
RRP: $499.00

Despite a few small flaws, the large size and the small price of this monitor make it one that you should definitely consider when you're shopping for a bargain. It performed particularly well when displaying photographs and its high resolution is great for viewing images taken with a high megapixel camera.
