The Logitech S125i is a portable iPod speaker that is good to throw in your bag when heading out for a picnic. It doesn’t have perfect sound quality and it’s a little more expensive than we think it should be, but it’s built well and makes for a fun addition to your picnic basket.

The Logic3 i-Station Rotate is a useful iPod dock built with video playback and portability in mind. Although bass and mid-range aren't up to scratch, it pumps out plenty of sound for such a small portable speaker system.

The Grundig GDR700DAB's retro design and decent integrated speakers make for a lovely DAB+ digital radio that evokes memories of old transistor radios. It may not be perfectly built and the internal components leave a little to be desired, but we like the mix of style, portability and sound quality that the Grundig GDR700DAB offers.

The Grundig DAB+ iPod Docking Radio (GDR710DABIP) has a DAB+ digital radio receiver and an iPod dock. We would have liked it to have an alarm clock and better sound quality, but it is a fairly good package at this price.

The Cygnett GrooveTime II iPod dock and alarm clock looks good and sounds great, especially when it's relatively small price and size are considered. Its only let-downs are the remote control's lack of full iPod menu functionality and its unresponsive buttons.

The IntelliTouch EOS Wireless (EOS100T1RB) iPod dock effectively streams high-quality audio to satellite speakers despite operating on the same 2.4GHz band as many other electronic devices. The main problems are its price tag and the lack of features we'd normally expect from an iPod dock at this price point.

Although the Logic3 ProDock is an excellent idea (a dock that displays movies from your iPod on your TV), it is limited by the iPod's inability to store videos at a high enough resolution for modern televisions. Add to this the limited frequency response range and you have a disappointing iPod dock.
