You'll get plenty out of this all-in-one unit, which contains an ADSL2+ modem as well as an 802.11 draft-n access point. It's easy to use and best of all, it's very well priced.

A PC Card slot allows this ADSL modem/router to double as a 3G modem/router. It performed very well in our tests and ships with a car kit, which, in effect, can turn your car into a mobile hotspot.

RRP: $299.00
The Netgear WNDR3700 is fast, reasonably easy to set up, and stocked with some interesting features. We love the ability to run 5GHz and 2.4GHz networks simultaneously, and the built-in USB function is useful for sharing content locally and across the Internet. All up, it's an above-average wireless router for the home or small office.
Review Date: 10-JUN-2008
RRP: $399.95
It's a little sluggish, but the N1 Vision modem proved to be reliable during our testing period and its built-in screen does come in handy.
Review Date: 10-APR-2007
RRP: $399.95
It proved to be a solid unit throughout our test period and we don't have any reservations recommending it if you're in the market for an ADSL2+ router with fast wireless networking capabilities.
Review Date: 20-DEC-2007
RRP: $99.00
This all-in-one ADSL2+ modem, 4-port switch and wireless access point is very affordable and does a good all-round job. It was a little slow in its wireless transfers to Centrino notebooks, but for under $100, that's excusable.

BEST_BUYS
RRP: $199.95
This all-in-one ADSL2+ router is stylish, and it also proved to be reliable in our tests, albeit a little slow. If you shop around, you should be able to find it for $130-$150, which makes it great value.
Review Date: 02-APR-2008
RRP: $219.00
It doesn't look pretty, nor does it feature the fastest networking options, but it's a reliable all-in-one ADSL2+ modem with built-in VoIP capabilities.
Review Date: 06-FEB-2009
RRP: $179.00
This affordable all-in-one ADSL2+ modem and wireless router proved to be reliable throughout our test period, as it stayed constantly connected to our ISP. It's definitely a unit you should consider if you also want steady wireless throughput.

RRP: $99.00
Linksys by Cisco's ADSL2+ Modem Router AG300 is a simple to use modem that's perfect if you don't need an all-in-one device with wireless networking. It can be found for around $80 if you shop around online, which makes it good value.
Review Date: 25-AUG-2009
RRP: $259.00
The Axim Communications MR-108N is a great little router for distributing a 3G or wired broadband connection. It's competitively priced, easy to use, and performed well during our tests.
Review Date: 10-SEP-2009
RRP: $369.00
iiNet's BoB may not be the best VoIP modem router currently available but it is one of the easiest to set up and use. The BoB combines your telephone, Internet, and home networking in a sleek package.
Review Date: 04-APR-2008
RRP: $158.00
While it doesn't have the fastest wireless networking facilities, this modem/router performed reliably in our tests and produced good wireless range. Some of its features are cryptic, but novice users shouldn't be discouraged as it's actually an easy unit to configure for Internet access and wireless networking.
Review Date: 01-JUN-2006
RRP: $330.00
It is a bit pricey, but it is full of features and comes with a three-year warranty, making it perfect for a small business.

We found the NB6Plus4Wn ADSL2+ modem router to be reliable, but slow when used with Centrino laptops. Overall it's fairly easy to set up, although its advanced features, such as QoS, are not straightforward and will require some research if you want to get the most out them.
