Though the WRT610N isn’t first to the Australian market with simultaneous dual-band operation, it’s definitely one of the fastest and most consistent at the moment. Setting it up can be slightly annoying, but these minor niggles are easy to ignore when the router performs this well.

Overall, the D-Link DHP-303 kit is a top-notch performer with easy encryption setup and useful features such as a software utility and a power-saving mode. Just buy the correct kit, and make sure you're existing equipment is compatible.

For a no-hassle Ethernet network, this kit is ideal. It's very fast and easy to setup. We'd recommended it for anyone who currently has trouble with wireless networking speed and range.

It's not quite an 802.11n router, but it will run 802.11n-based adapters at close to 802.11n speed. It looks good, it's easy to use and it was completely reliable throughout our test period. We highly recommend this router if you want something inexpensive with which to stream HD video or a high-speed ADSL2+ connection.

A PC Card slot allows this ADSL modem/router to double as a 3G modem/router. It performed very well in our tests and ships with a car kit, which, in effect, can turn your car into a mobile hotspot.

The Netgear WNDR3700 is fast, reasonably easy to set up, and stocked with some interesting features. We love the ability to run 5GHz and 2.4GHz networks simultaneously, and the built-in USB function is useful for sharing content locally and across the Internet. All up, it's an above-average wireless router for the home or small office.
