The dual-layers of sheet metal do well to keep the system quiet, but the lack of a removable motherboard tray and the resulting tight working environment, detract from this case as a worthwhile proposition.

The Antec Nine Hundred enclosure is a bit cramped for a gaming enclosure, which are increasingly required to house some of the biggest hardware around, but is otherwise a functional, transportable case.

While we do have a couple of issues with its construction and design, the large size and excellent cooling of the 3D Aurora 570 make it a decent case if you want to build a high-end gaming PC. Its light weight means that you can also lug it to LAN parties fairly easily.

This case has style, runs cool and quiet, and has enough size to cater to a high-end configuration. However, if you're constantly adding and removing components, this case isn't an ideal choice.

Although the Lian-Li PC-7S has no particularly innovative design features, it's a fairly solid case. We do think Lian-Li has skimped a little with only three hard drive bays and so much space to spare, but a simple PC setup will go well with this case.

This is one of the most feature-packed cases around town. It's not cheap and it's not light, but if you've got a lot of hardware and like to tinker inside your case as often as using your PC you'll appreciate this bad boy.

The Zalman ZMachine GT1000-TI is a very stylish case with an interesting and manageable design. There are no points lost for the lack of a removable motherboard tray, but the design could have allowed for it, which is disappointing.

It's tool-free, looks funky (if you're into that sort of thing) and has plenty of cooling, plus you can't go wrong with adjustable fans!

RRP: $289.00

There was definitely a feeling of anticlimax when we finally got our heads around this enclosure. Although this case has a lot of potential and some very nice features, it somehow didn't quite live up to what it promised.

All up, the S21T is an enticing (albeit very expensive) option for a home-theatre PC. The integrated 12.1in touch screen is adequate for browsing and selecting media files without using a mouse or keyboard, but ultimately, a Windows SideShow controller device might've been a better option.

AMD's new open-standard small form factor looks promising. It should hopefully re-ignite interest in the small PC market, as long as motherboard and case vendors take advantage of the smaller motherboard size and implement cool features such as ExpressCard slots.

The Thermaltake SwordM isn't cheap, but those looking for some garish over-the-top design and some serious cooling will enjoy this style. Thermaltake could have put more effort into the tool-free aspect and some fan control would have been handy, but overall it's a powerful case for a powerful system.

If you're after an affordable way to store your photos and videos, and would also like to view them on a TV without any fuss, the Welland MediaBank ME-747AP-SI represents good value for money. However, a few niggling flaws have rendered it less than perfect.

The B2 Stealth Bomber is a flawed gaming chassis let down by poor cable management, a crammed interior and myriad design glitches. If you don’t intend to regularly upgrade your system, it might be worth considering for the cool aesthetics. But only just.

Antec's Skeleton will make your life much easier when it comes time to swap stuff in or out, whether you're doing it because you need to pretest components prior to deployment in other equipment or just because you're tired of what you have.
