Leisure Suit Larry series
The original Leisure Suit Larry (sub-titled ‘in the Land of the Lounge Lizards’) was released on PCs in 1987. Developed by Sierra, it was a point-and-click adventure game where the object was to relieve Larry Laffer, a 40-year old loser, of his virginity. Despite being a strictly ‘adults only’ affair, there was very little risqué content in the original title. Further installments became increasingly racier, with the most recent entry (2004’s Magna Cum Laude) being banned from sale in Australia by the OFLC.
