Ubisoft leaps back into the Prince of Persia franchise with Prince of Persia: Prodigy. The latest addition to the series features a new prince in Persia during the battle between Zoroastrian gods Ohrmazd and Ahriman. After accidentally unleashing the evil god Ahriman, the prince must undo his actions in order to stop the corruption in the world. The latest game heads in a bold new direction, with the use of "Zelda-esque" cel-shaded graphics. It will feature combat more like the early games in the series: rather than the prince facing a multitude of enemies, Prodigy will focus on one-on-one combat. Of course, there will also be the usual acrobatic platform action. The game is scheduled to be released in the second half of this year and will be available on the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
