New features on the 1000D include Live View, which debuted on the EOS 1D MkIII and continued in the EOS 40D and 450D. Continuous shooting modes are also superior to the 400D’s: unlimited JPEGs are able to be captured at three frames per second, which is a marked improvement over the 400D’s 27 shots (also at three frames per second).
