BlackBerry Flips out with new Pearl

RIM has recently announced the launch of the first BlackBerry Flip handset, the Pearl 8220.

The BlackBerry Flip supports Wi-Fi connectivity but isn’t 3G capable, nor does it feature built-in GPS. The Pearl Flip allows the synchronisation of non-DRM music with iTunes. It also supports voice dialling, MP3 ring tones and a hands-free speakerphone. Multimedia features include a media player and a camera that doubles as a video recorder. Files can be stored on microSD cards.
