Zombies join Axis forces in latest Call of Duty

Let’s face it — re-enacting World War II battles can only provide so much entertainment. Of course, with its fifth installment on the way, the Call of Duty franchise doesn’t look like it’s slowing down with its World War II theme anytime soon, but it seems Treyarch has heard the cry of gamers everywhere. Taking gamers’ favourite pass time — shooting things — and combining it with the creatures everybody loves to kill — zombies — Call of Duty: World at War will see the introduction of a new cooperative mode to spice things up. Once you complete the World War II-based single player game in Call of Duty: World at War, an online co-op mode is unlocked in which up to four players face an unlimited onslaught of Nazi zombies attempting to eat their brains. How can anyone turn this opportunity down? Call of Duty: World at War will be released on PC, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360 on November 11.
