2008 was unquestionably a bumper year for gaming. From the cultural phenomenon of Grand Theft Auto IV to the cinematic luxury of the latest Metal Gear Solid, the number of high-profile releases was truly staggering. It is therefore unsurprising that a few games managed to slip through the cracks. Some of these games were overlooked by the buying public, while others were unfairly dismissed by critics.
