New Batman: Arkham Asylum screenshots released

More madness in Gotham City.

Batman isn't a stranger to video games, but it looks like the superhero's latest adventure is his toughest yet. Built around Gotham City's mental institution, Batman: Arkham Asylum sees the caped crusader take on familiar villains. The dark knight employs both hand-to-hand combat and gadgetry to achieve his goals, and the game also focuses on Batman's capabilities as a detective. New screenshots released for the game heavily feature the Joker, as well as a number of other villains players should expect to encounter. Expect the game on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in early May.
