<h2>A Sporty Palm Smartphone: The Centro</h2><br><br>In the fall of 2007, recognizing that many consumers who loved the Palm OS and its applications craved a more contemporary smartphone, Palm released the [[xref:http://www.pcworld.com/reviews/product/30835/review/centro.html|Centro|Palm Centro]], a Sprint smartphone that was much more compact and looked sportier than its Treo cousins.
