From Palm Pilot to Palm Pre: A brief history of Palm's handhelds

Will the Palm Pre be the last in a storied line of products, or will it mark the beginning of a new era for the once and former Palm, Inc.?

A Sporty Palm Smartphone: The Centro

In the fall of 2007, recognizing that many consumers who loved the Palm OS and its applications craved a more contemporary smartphone, Palm released the Centro, a Sprint smartphone that was much more compact and looked sportier than its Treo cousins. The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
