Toshiba launches new Satellite notebook range

Over a dozen new laptops released, with screens ranging from 13.3-18.4in

It has an HDMI-CEC (consumer electronics) port, which allows the notebook to be controlled by the same remote as your TV as long as your TV also supports HDMI-CEC (it's known by many names — Toshiba's TVs call it Regza Link while Samsung TVs call it Anynet). Toshiba says it can even be used to control the media player functions of the notebook. Other features that stand out are the USB 2.0 Sleep-and-Charge ports, which support the iPhone, a second-generation fingerprint reader, a hard drive accelerometer, a 1280x800 webcam, face recognition login, eSATA, and an Eco utility that can be invoked by pressing a button on the chassis.
