Everything's installed, so I plug in the keyboard and monitor and see if it boots up. <br><br>It doesn't! What could possibly be wrong? <br><br>Look closely at the bottom photo on the [[xref:http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9136257/Image_gallery_Building_an_Apple_1_replica_from_scratch?pageNumber=15|previous page|Image gallery: Building an Apple-1 replica from scratch]] and you'll see the 65C02 is installed backwards compared to the other chips, and that the notch on the 65C02 doesn't line up with the diagram of a notch on the board. This mistake could've fried the CPU. <br><br>I carefully unseat it, rotate it 180 degrees, reinsert it, and hope for the best.
