Digital photography tips: capture summer action

Follow these expert action photography tips to take top-notch images of subjects in motion.

Capture some motion

A more creative option is to use the motion in your scene to your advantage. Employing a technique called panning, you can pivot your body as you take the picture, keeping the subject centered in the viewfinder throughout the exposure.
