If you're after a little camera that takes the thinking out of photography and just allows you to point and capture your subject, then Nikon's Coolpix S570 is a good choice. It has a 28mm wide angle lens with a 5x zoom and it's a largely automatic camera that can pick the appropriate scene mode to use depending on the lighting conditions. Its image quality won't set the world on fire, but it's good enough for casual shots, holiday snaps and parties. You can pick it up from Digital Camera Warehouse for $220, which is a saving of $29 off the recommended retail price.
