Toshiba busts out old notebooks and new models

Hot models take Toshiba laptops to the catwalk at 25th anniversary showcase

The year is 1990. The laptop is the Toshiba T4600. It was the first laptop with a nickel metal hydrate battery, which provided up to three hours of life away from an outlet. The cost of the T4600 exceeded $16,000 and it came with 1MB of RAM, as well as a colour screen with a resolution of 640x480. It weighed 3.2kg.
