The current generation of PCs and video game consoles has provided gamers with endless hours of blissful entertaintment. From the platforming perfection of Super Mario Galaxy 2 to the peerless action in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, there has been a dizzying array of great titles vying for our attention. Many of these games are destined to go down as all-time classics in their respective genres (some, like LittleBigPlanet, even spawned unique genres unto themselves).

Choosing this generation's best game (thus far) is therefore a difficult undertaking -- which is why we handed the task over to you, our readers.
