A Link to the Past was a prequel to the first two Zelda games, and made full use of the SNES's graphical power with a brightly coloured top-down perspective. It has some of the best music in the entire series, composed by Nintendo lifer Koji Kondo — if you want a nostalgia trip, jump on YouTube and listen to the Hyrule Overture.
