Sculpture by the Sea 2011, shot with the Olympus PEN E-PL3

We took the Olympus PEN E-PL3 for a spin around Sydney's Sculpture by the Sea

We took the Olympus PEN E-PL3 down to Sydney's Sculpture by the Sea to test it out. We used the 14-42mm lens and used iAUTO mode for all the photos.

Without an electronic viewfinder, it was sometimes impossible to tell what we were shooting through the LCD screen in the very bright conditions. The tilting screen did help in some circumstances to help frame low- and high-angled shots.

The camera did a good job exposing the shots automatically in the very bright conditions and we're happy with the colour saturation and detail, even though the images aren't super crisp when you look at them at their native size.

None of the photos have been modified -- these shots are straight out of the camera.
