Vienna University of Technology says its 3D printer creates images in world record time

The process called “two-photon lithography” involves using laser beam to harden liquid resin in order to create micro objects of solid polymer. The scientists said the technique could be developed to make all manner of small parts including biomedical items for use by doctors.
