Hot on the heels of its Surface reveal, Microsoft has demonstrated some of the new features coming in Windows Phone 8.

Internet Explorer 10

We saw Internet Explorer 10 on Windows 8, but Microsoft today confirmed that IE 10 would be the default browser in Windows Phone 8 as well. This revision of Internet Explorer brings a major performance boost for handling JavaScript and HTML5.
