I’ve long wanted to love Android tablets because of the huge variety of apps available to do just about anything I could possibly want. These include things like network sniffers, SNMP MIB browsers, port scanners, and even some SSH tools. Unfortunately, a few of these tools require root level access to your device, and on many Android devices, rooting can be a nasty and mysterious ordeal.
