In Pictures: Who's who in the Microsoft shake-up?

Microsoft has announced its biggest reorganidation in years, and a lot of the new leaders have backgrounds in consumer businesses. Here's who's running the show.

Ballmer's final shake-up. Steve Ballmer has said he would retire from the company when his last kid goes to college, which means 2017 or so. Today's reorganization is probably his final chance to shape the company in his image -- or at least in a fashion that he thinks is necessary for the future. In a memo to the troops this morning, Ballmer said that the realignment is meant to create "One Microsoft" -- a single company aligned around delivering services and devivces.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
