It's always nice to have choice. JVC certainly provide in this regard with their five-strong range of Everio camcorders. Sitting right in the middle of the range is the GZ-MG57, a solid offering. With a 30GB hard drive, a 15x zoom and the superlative...

Aiptek Mini Pocket DV8900

Altec Lansing MX 4021

Altec Lansing seems to have solved the problem of often producing understated subwoofers by throwing an extra cone into the mix. The FX4021 contains an isobaric subwoofer, meaning there are two sub cones in the box placed on top of one another.

Altec Lansing MX5021

The Altec Lansing MX5021 speakers do require some tweaking depending on what they are being used for, but they are eventually capable of good results. A larger subwoofer capable of producing fuller sounds would have made these a great set of speakers...

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
