The CPL Core i5 750 desktop PC is well built, fast and looks reasonably menacing. It can be used for gaming as well as office work and video editing and it has plenty of room for expansion. For $1710, we think it's a pretty good buy.

Not everyone will like the appearance of the Aurora ALX, but there's no denying that it's a powerful machine that will please most serious gamers. We like its design and construction. Although it's not a perfect PC, we think it's a worthy machine for those who can afford to splurge on it.

Lenovo's ThinkCentre M58p Small Form Factor PC is faster than the M57 it replaces, and it consumes less power. It's a great little PC for corporations or small businesses that are looking to roll out new desktops.

The upgrades to the latest Apple iMac are largely underwhelming, but the computer retains its excellently crafted design. It's still an outstanding machine, but the smaller keyboard, lack of included remote and the fact that no display adapters are included are all negatives considering the high price.
