PC World Australia's best buys are a rank of the top five tablets based on perceived value for money.
Although the tablet market is dominated by Apple's iPad, the market leader isn't exactly the cheapest proposition. It is here in the best buy category that Google's Android platform shines through, making up four out of the five selections in our October list.
Though most of these Android tablets were released at price points comparable to the market leading iPad 2, almost all of them have dropped in price: so much so that you can often save hundreds of dollars on the original RRP. Just shop around.
The only non-Android tablet to make our November list is the HP's TouchPad: it was made available for just $98 from Harvey Norman, though stock sold out very quickly. If you're lucky you may still be able to find one on eBay!
