The main highlight of the upcoming auction is Sir Donald Bradman’s Test Captain’s Baggy Green for the series against the touring England side in 1946-47. The cap was presented by Bradman to a young Englishman, Timothy Biles, in 1958. The cap is estimated to fetch somewhere between $300,000-500,000.

Also included are his batting helmets, bats, gloves, pads, Test and One-Day shirts.

Other highlights include the only official auction catalogue of yearlings sold in New Zealand in 1928 with details of the purchase and ownership of the legendary Phar Lap (estimate $70,000-100,000) and Might & Power’s 1997 Melbourne Cup winning silks & cap, both signed and worn by jockey Jim Cassidy (estimate $2,500-3,000).
