Fujitsu & HP new deals with ExpressApps

 • 02 September, 2004 14:33

Dr Mark Harrigan, Managing Director of ExpressApps Pty Ltd, announced that his thin-client specialist company had reached new service supply agreements with both Fujitsu and Hewlett Packard this week.

This news comes on the back of recent ExpressApps partnership agreements already signed with Dynamic Business Solutions and Technology Trading House (TTH) of Brisbane.

“Our strategy of not competing with system integrators, and instead working with them is really kicking in, now,” says Dr Harrigan.

“Our Fujitsu deal encompasses their projects in Citrix and Windows Active Directory. They value that we deliver specialist skills in server-based computing. We are now in a full-on working relationship and have become their specialist of choice in our niche,” he said.

“Already we have completed a Citrix pilot study for a TAFE, ad hoc troubleshooting for an oil multinational, web interface consulting for a government instrumentality, pre-sales, design and implementation for a bank.

“Typically, our client manages customer relations and core areas such as the mainframe, while we concentrate on our niche. This is now an actual best of breed strategy where all parties to the project are the leaders in their fields.

“This represents a new twist on one-stop-shop out-sourcing,” he said.

“The TTH partnership offers the Brisbane-based business a ready-made technical presence in the Melbourne market where they can even generate tech sales by leveraging ExpressApps local technical know-how and resources,” Dr Harrigan said.
