Wavelink to Distribute ConnexALL Wireless Messaging

 • 06 May, 2004 11:58

5 May 2004

Wavelink Communications has signed a distribution agreement with Canada’s GlobeStar Systems to distribute GlobeStar’s ConnexALL wireless messaging software. According to Wavelink’s GM Sales, Lee Lister, “This move further reinforces Wavelink’s position as a leading specialist supplier of wireless voice and messaging solutions for on-site commercial and industrial applications.”

ConnexALL is an open architecture software platform that provides unified wireless communication and business systems integration which optimizes organizational performance.

Lee Lister noted that “Historically, organizations have been forced to adapt the management of their communication networks to meet the needs of each business system rather than meeting their own requirements. As a result they end up requiring multiple proprietary interfaces for each business system that requires a wireless solution. ConnexALL breaks the barriers of proprietary interfaces with a single point of aggregation for all business systems which need to communicate events and status to several wireless devices. ConnexALL's ability to receive critical information and solicit immediate action enables workers to respond from either a fixed or mobile device.”

The ConnexALL platform provides integration to:

· On-site wireless devices and services such as DECT phones, pagers, PDA's, tablet PC's and all other wireless communication enabled devices using voice and/or data.
· Networks and business systems such as security systems, access control networks, HVAC, communication systems, fire alarm panels, production units, logistic interfaces, control units, and other specialized equipment.

Target industries include Healthcare, Education, Manufacturing, Retail, Building Management and Transportation who all typically have networks of multiple systems designed to support a variety of applications used by different types of workforce. ConnexALL unifies these systems under a single platform, extending each system's application feature set and functionality to a unified wireless network chosen by the facilities management to meet their particular needs.

“ConnexALL integrates fully with our KIRK DECT systems, providing a total voice and messaging solution that can be adapted to suit the needs of our varied clients”, enthused Lee Lister.

GlobeStar Systems is a market leader in wireless integration software solutions. Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, GlobeStar employs in excess of 100 people. Its development team has over 35 years of wireless integration experience, enabling the development of flexible solutions that can be custom tailored and quick to market. Its resource complement includes full technical staff and round the clock service support for their global customers.

Wavelink Communications (www.wavelink.com.au) specialises in the supply, marketing and support of a range of leading edge digital wireless voice and messaging solutions. Wavelink is the exclusive Australian distributor for a range of products from Kirk telecom A/S (Denmark), Blick Communications (UK) and DeTeWe AG (Germany).

It’s easy to set up, it’s compact and quiet when printing and to top if off, the print quality is excellent. This is hands down the best printer I’ve used for printing labels.
