• 01 March, 2004 16:04

Creative Labs, SYDNEY – March 1, 2004 – Creative Labs Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Creative Technology Ltd., a worldwide leader in digital entertainment products for PC users, today announced price drops across the entire range of their ever popular digital audio players.

Nick Angelucci, local Marketing Manager for Creative Labs said, “Our audio product range has seen significant growth in retail sales in the last few months. I am glad to say that Creative is well established with Australian retailers and with this latest aggressive pricing , we expect a boom in portable audio sales in the coming months ahead.”

The most recent announcement made by Creative is the release of the Creative Nomad MuVo2, which is the first digital player sold in Australia of its kind using the latest micro hard drive technology for storage space. “What great value you’re getting with our latest 4 Giga-Byte MuVo2 player - you’re paying just under $125 per gigabyte memory on this player, which effectively stores up to 2100 songs in WMA format. Couple that with a removable rechargeable battery, that drives the unit up to 14 hours continuously and you’ll see that it is amazing value for money.“

The increasing popularity of WMA format music files available from local Australian music portals like www.bigpondmusic.com, www.mp3.destramusic.com.au and www.mulemusic.com.au are driving consumers to purchase players that support the WMA format. As more legal download music becomes available and users start to build their digital music collections, the demand for Creative portable devices will increase.

It’s easy to set up, it’s compact and quiet when printing and to top if off, the print quality is excellent. This is hands down the best printer I’ve used for printing labels.
