<p>SYDNEY, Australia, July 21 2004 - VERITAS Software Pty Ltd, the leading provider of enterprise storage software, today announced the appointment of XSI Data Solutions as an Elite value added reseller (VAR) partner for the Australian market.</p>
<p>The appointment reinforces VERITAS’ commitment to expanding its channel partnerships in Australia and New Zealand, providing greater growth opportunities for its award-winning and market-leading products that are focused on business efficiency and continuity.</p>
<p>Commenting on the appointment, Bruce Lakin, VERITAS managing director for Australia and New Zealand, said “We’re very pleased to be working with XSI. Our product range complements XSI’s expertise and offers us the opportunity to extend the penetration of our offerings into key markets.”</p>
<p>Founded 18 years ago, XSI Data Solutions is the largest Australian-owned and managed data storage company. XSI specialises in disk, tape and network-based storage solutions and is an expert in both NAS (network attached storage) and SAN (storage area network) strategies.</p>
