SYDNEY, Australia – August 10, 2004 – FileMaker, Inc. has announced that its FileMaker Pro 7 upgrade “amnesty” program – available for versions of FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Server dating as far back as 1993 – will end in 38 days on Sept. 17, 2004.

FileMaker Pro 7 is the #1-selling easy-to-use database software that lets users effortlessly manage information.

The amnesty program allows licensed owners of FileMaker Pro 2.1, 3.0, 4.x and 5.x to upgrade to FileMaker Pro 7 at the same low upgrade price that FileMaker 6 owners are eligible for – AUD$249 (inc.
“This is the last chance for thousands of FileMaker customers to move up to the ease-of-use and customisability of FileMaker Pro 7, the most highly regarded version of FileMaker in its history,” said Steve McManus, General Manager Asia Pacific, FileMaker, Inc. “It’s very unusual for software companies to offer upgrade pricing for users of versions that were originally available more than 10 years ago.
